Kanye West is singing a different tune following his comments to Kid Cudi at a Saint Pablo tour stop last week.

After Cudi fired shots at Drake and Kanye West in a lengthy Twitter rant about the hip-hop industry (“These n—as dont give a f— about me. And they aint f—in with me,” he wrote), both targets responded at their respective concerts. Drake remixed a line of O.T. Genasis’ “Cut It” while ‘Ye hit pause on his set to say, “Kid Cudi, don’t ever mention ‘Ye name. I birthed you.”

During his show at Houston’s Toyota Center on Tuesday night (Sept. 20), West offered a message of peace. According to fan footage on Twitter, he said, “I just wanted to take time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother and I hope he’s doing well.” He also called the “Day ‘N’ Nite” rapper “the most influential artist of the past 10 years.”

Before their back and forth, ‘Ye and Cudi had several collaborations together, including West’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” and “All of the Lights.”
