If your vehicle registration has expired, never fear. Governor Abbott has extended the deadline to renew your vehicle’s registration. If renewing online, Texas vehicle owners have an extra nine months from the date their vehicle’s registration expired. In addition, Governor Abbott has extended his order to law enforcement officers to not write citations for expired vehicle registrations.
